Avalara - Blog Design

 

Created multi-page print and digital collateral in InDesign using styles and assets from the company library.

 

Requirements:

• Design a template with a new look for the company newsletter called The Juice.
• Production with mockups using company digital assets • Layout development and design • Header design.

Avalara - Social Media Banners

 

Multiple banner ad campaigns to promote  various marketing endeavors and targeting businesses, new clientele as well as existing Avalara customers.
 

Requirements:
• Use company digital assets as in company logo, photography and illustrations, to maintain corporate branding • Layout development and design • Concept development • Typography, design and layout • Adobe software used: Illustrator and Photoshop, depending on project task.

 

 

 

 

 

Seattle Animal Shelter - Banner ads

 

Halloween Ad campaign to promote an awareness event  for the shelter’s critters. This social media campaign was specific to the non furry creatures at the animal shelter who are underrepresented for adoption. Two Halloween themes were requested, to fit four different banner ad dimensions for their web site banner and their Facebook presence.
 

Skills used for both concepts: Watercolor illustration, concept development, typography, designand layout, Adobe Photoshop.

Windows8 - Photo-manipulation and Page Layout

Web pages for the Microsoft Windows web site needed mockups and photo-manipulation for team discussion. I used "Masking" in Photoshop, to manipulate, crop and scale images. I also created graphic elements and icons. Working with writers, editors and the design team, I offered creative solutions to resolve problems with templates and complex production issues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nordstrom - Redlines


Production of multiple redlines for numerous pages of a highly complex e-commerce site. Used highly detailed labeling and written communication skills in tandem with extensive Photoshop technical knowledge to help build web pages for department teams, executed to pixel-perfect precision.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nordstrom - Style Guide

This style guide was used to promote consistency in the terms used in inter-departmental communication. A clear understanding of terminology was crucial to planning and meeting deadlines so teams relied very much on this glossary for a mutual understanding of terms. The guide was produced in inDesign and distributed to departments in pdf format.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WhitePages - Web Design

Sales tool to sell ads. Displayed here is one of the four "Centers" web pages, designed for a market targeting campaign:
1. Home Improvement Center (shown here)
2. Wedding Center
3. Auto Care Center
4. Holiday and Festivities Center

 

Approach: Ads appearing on this page, needed to pop, giving them highest visibility and make the rest of the web page appear secondary in hierarchy to the ads. Hence the soft appearance. See example with ads in enlarged view.

Fall Sale ad campaign for Eddie Bauer's sweaters.

 

Skills used:
